Vintage Lot Remington Aluminum “Alcoa” & Savage Buttplates Rifle Shotgun Parts

This is a vintage lot of 3 Remington & 1 Savage aluminum buttplates.
Two of the Remington buttplates are made by Alcoa and have the numbers C-18378 & D17015 on the back.
These butt plates were used on many different Remington & Savage rifles and shotguns.
The buttplates are used and could benefit from a good cleaning – amount of finish remaining on the buttplates varies (see pictures).
Let me know if you need specific dimensions on a buttplate and I can get that for you.
These would be excellent candidates for a restoration, or to save for a future project.
