Vintage Donkey pepper shaker seated ceramic painted figure Japan 3 1/4"

Cute donkey pepper shaker.  It only has 2 holes in the back of the head, so I would guess this is for pepper, not salt.  This looks like a ceramic post-WWII ceramic from Japan.  Painted over the ceramic glaze for the most part.  There are a few little paint rubs, but overall still nice for its age.  No chips or cracks.  About 3 1/4 inches tall.  No marks on the bottom.  Maybe you have the salt shaker, otherwise, this is a cute figurine.
