Please note my correction : At the suggestion of a helpful fellow ebayer I have reviewed the photos on "wilwinds" and concluded that based on the form of the two opposing busts that this is not a Philip I issue but rather a Trebonianus Gallus medallion. Here is a scarce and interesting medallion issued by Trebonianus Gallus. Struck in Celicia , Seleuceia ad Calycadum , 251-253 AD on a 37mm bronze flan weighing 29.2 gm. Obv. Laureate & draped bust of Trebonianus Gallus facing right with legend around. Rev. Face to face busts of Apollo and Tyche. A laureate Apollo on the left and Tyche on the right wearing a kalathos with a cornucopia behind. Purchased from cody111111 on ebay in 2017. In the beautiful condition shown with great detail on all of the busts and nice dark patina. Your satisfaction is guaranteed since if you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason , I will refund the initial shipping fee and also pay the return shipping cost for a truly risk-free purchase. NOINTERNATIONAL SHIPPING.
