The objective lens diameter of the Swarovski ATS-80 HD Spotting Scope is 80 mm. The large objective lens makes this spotting scope perfect for detailed observations of extreme long-range subjects, particularly when paired with the optional 20-60x zoom eyepiece. Neutral Density Filters or polarizers can be installed to improve the views as those are accepted by the front threads on the objective lens housing; it is highly useful when digiscoping with the spotting scope. This amazing spotting scope provides a comfortable 45° wide apparent viewing angle for the viewer. There are multiple mounting options so that different types of tripods can be used with it. The shoe’s socket thread measurements are ¼”-20 and 3/8”-16 which makes it suitable for almost any kind of tripods, heads, and release plates. The mounting shoe is compatible with Arca-Swiss so that it works perfectly with Arca-Swiss heads without the need for quick release plates.
Swarovski ATS-80 HD Spotting Scope has SWARODUR coatings on the lenses with a fine finish to keep them free from abrasion and scratches. Moisture is resisted by the non-stick SWAROCLEAN lens coating. It also repels the accumulation of dust and makes cleaning easier. Each HD lens has a SWAROTOP lens coating that is anti-reflective. It reduces glare effects and enhances the image's contrast. Within the spotter, extra-low dispersion (ED) fluoride HD glass enhances the brightness and color fidelity, resulting in vibrant, life-like colors and rich details.

Nitrogen-filled housing enhances the Spotting Scope's fog-proof and waterproof efficiency. The housing of the device is airtight and protected from water up to 13 ft. deep (4m). The optimal operating temperature of this Spotting Scope ranges from -13 to 131 ° F (-25 to 55 ° C). The scope body is built of a lightweight and robust aluminum alloy. And a large, slip-resistant collar allows accurate focusing.

If you purchased a camera body, please note there are instances where we ship the camera body in a box which originally included the camera and the lens. The lens has been removed when it is not part of your purchase. Most manufactures do not include a paper manual. A pdf manual will be provided upon request.
