RARE "LONGUE VUE MAGIQUE" LTD. ED. 230 Engraved Brass Kaleidoscope from France

Description

This is a rare, antique, Limited Edition #230 Authentic Models Holland, brass, French Kaleidoscope engraved "LONGUE VUE MAGIQUE" in the middle of an engraved French wreath.  Purchased in France and is 8 1/2" long and 1 3/8" in diameter. It is in excellent condition and comes in a green velvet lined original box and with a plate depicting the LTD ED # and the Authentic Models Holland copyright.  It also has an additional blank plate on top that could be engraved.  No scratches on the lens and it is made of high quality solid brass.  Heavier than most kaleidoscopes. It is absolutely mesmerizing as you look around the room with it; as it takes on the different colors and shapes. You'll see even more changes if you rotate the piece.

Some of the best and most rare Kaleidoscopes and Telescopes were made by the French and this is an excellent example.  It would be a fantastic purchase to add to anyone's collection or on display to share!
