    The Gold Sovereign is among the most iconic British Coins. They have quite a long history, including a few centuries in circulation. This  Gold Sovereign was struck by the British Royal Mint. It has a proof finish and is made of 22 karat gold. Its face value is 1 pound and the weight of the coin is 7.98 g. Mintage of this proof is limited.
    St. George and The Dragon
