Description
My husband and I love old art prints and old calendars. Way before the internet, we searched for early 1900's and older calendars, prints, store advertising etc. I collected Maxfield Parrish framed prints and complete calendars along the way also. In one of our searches, we found many different art prints, many being calendar tops. This is an unused calendar top, called His Last Cartridge by R. A. Atkinson Fox. It is not signed as it had been cropped to this size. It has been found signed and documented that the artist is R A Fox. THIS IS NOT A LASER COPY, A SCANNED COPY, or anything other than an actual calendar top from the 1920's 1930's. Size is abut 7 3/4" x 7 3/4" square. It is a little fuzzy which is probably why it was not used. Scan is of the EXACT print you will receive. No moisture or insect exposure.
The colors are vibrant, the reds are still red (red fades to green, so if you see red in an old print, the color is good). Paper condition is good. There is a faint black street in the lower edge, prints left side (our right side).
If you decorate with a western theme, this would definitely fit right in.
