This item was purchased from an estate sale in Southern California. It was brought home by the original owner while in the military.
No further information was known from the representative for the family.
The wood has no varnish or resin finish. There are a few areas that have thin cracks which is consistent with aged wood that has dried over time. One crack on the beard goes through the entire section, but does not affect the integrity of the piece. Please see photos for details on this specific issue.
The glass eyes are firmly in place and are free from any scratches or nicks. All of the bone teeth are in original condition.
