    Description

    LC Smith shotgun wood buttstock and splinter fore end, black walnut. Wood from a (1917)12 gauge LC Smith Specialty Grade, Featherweight, with ejectors and a Hunter One Trigger. Buttstock measures 14 5/8 inches along top of comb. I believe this stock will be a bit short for a "standard" fitting. A 1.5 inch pad was used to achieve the desired LOP.  Cracks in the headstock have been previously repaired. However, as noted on the photographs, the buttstock  remains cracked.  Consequently, I make no warranties regarding its future utility.  The splinter fore end is not cracked.
