Kubota Tractor GCK60-BX Grass Leaf Catcher Top Link Adapter - BX25 BX24 BX1880

Well... they say that necessity is the Mother of Invention, and my Dad always told me there is always a way to fix everything. So I had a need, came up with this part and since many of you may have the same need I thought I would share it as a product that others can use. If you are scratching your head trying to figure out how to do what the Kubota Dealer said couldn't be done (while trying to sell you a brand new updated grass catcher for 00) then by all means read on....
If you have an older Kubota Compact Tractor maybe 1800 - 2200 series, or maybe found a nice old GCK60-BX grass catcher and can't seem to figure out how to connect it to your shiny new Kubota BX25D then I have the part for you.
This is a customized TOP LINK BAR that simply attaches onto your existing Kubota Grass Catcher (ONLY model GCK60-BX) and will mate with the top link attachment point on the back of those newer BX25 models. Now I know that your Kubota Dealer told you this couldn't be done but believe me...it can. Read the opening line of this listing again.
This is the easiest solution I could find, and should work with any Kubota BX25 model with a standard Kubota Factory 3 Point Hitch for a BX25D. You simply slide this over your GCK60 Top Bracket, insert the Hitch Pin & Lock, and then simple use the tractor's 3 pt lift system to lift and align the other end of the TOP LINK BAR adapter into place on the back of the tractor.
The link has a little movement designed into it that enables both ends to be easily attached. Once you get BOTH ends of the TOP LINK ADAPTER secured, simply release hydraulic pressure to the 3pt lift system and remove your UPPER ARM/LINK PINS to finalize the installation.
Your GCK60-BX is now securely held in place and also allows full use of the lift system for changing mower deck height. Easier installation is possible by putting the tractor hitch pin in first and then align the bottom of the Top Link Bar to the grass catcher.
Your PTO shaft should be fairly level and operate with no issues.
NOTE: NEVER USE YOUR GCK60-BX WITH THE UPPER 3 POINT HITCH ARMS ATTACHED IN PLACE, they must ALWAYS be detached to use the grass catcher properly.
PTO SHAFT INFO: You will need to attach your PTO SHAFT to operate but once in place you are set to go.
My PTO shaft fit well, if yours has been modified in length (for your current setup) then you may have to add or subtract material to fit. This adapter allows you to get the GCK60 in place behind the newer tractor on a more level plane. Just for reference, my PTO shaft is exactly 14 1/2 inches long... and the GCK-60 is about dead level with the PTO. I would think a PTO Shaft length of 13 1/2" - 16" should work fine.
