Colt 1911A1 Slide WWII inventory

Description

Strong finish on this Colt marked 1911A1 slide, with both original sights. Not sure what to make of this slide, as I don;t see wear , or sanding , buffing or pitting under the parkerize finish.And no wear evident, with a parkerize finish full as original grey color. The greenish color of finish was the armories covering the exterior with tung oil for storage and transport. I suspect that it was re-parkerized as there is a slight dent at the back of the slide where the firing pin retainer plated is located, and evident is a letter H stamped in the slot from an inspector. Still a good original replacement slide from WWII. Check my inventory for unusual and rare gun parts and other items. I  work  hard to find unusual items, and  try to keep the price affordable. My   descriptions are what I see, good , bad, ugly, etc. when listing. Rarely do I miss something in listing.
