    Description

This was a dream pick. There is a wonderful Monday flea market in my little home town in northern Wisconsin that I attend from the opening Memorial weekend to Labor Day Monday. In all these years I have slowly trained about 30 vendors to pick for me- with GREAT success. So this year I see my friend Margaret- she's 91 and sharp as a tack. Margaret has a summer house on Whitefish and winters in Florida- where she picks for me. Margaret calls me before the market happens and says " Come if you can while were setting up for the market- tell them at the door that I need help with some things- they will let you in."  I arrive the Friday before Memorial day Monday. Margaret has an 8 foot table PILED with antique Victorian die-cuts like this one listed. I carefully go through a stack of calendar tops or other advertising pieces as she walks over. "This is what I wanted you to see, I know you like old paper."
I continued to look at things and finally asked Margaret- "What if I buy it all?" She looked at me like my hair was on fire and said "You realize there are over 80 pieces laying there?" I nodded and said " I'm aware- what will you take for everything?"
I left the pre-market that day with the entire pile. Never have I bought so many KILLER die-cuts like this- at one time.
This unusual cut-work/stamped/three panel Christmas themed 1904 calendar is a gem. The ONLY drawback- the months March & April have been removed. I love the birds depicted. I think it's a beautiful example and would be WOW framed.  Measures 17 1/2" x 8" Really crisp, beautiful lithography.  Pictures tell the story BEST.
We combine shipping, pack professionally & ship lightning quick. Payment is due at the end of the auction. Thanks for looking and Please look at the pile I am just beginning to list- Good Luck.
