Pride of Two Nations!
In addition to the incredible, first-ever pedigree for the set, each of the coins in this set are also first-ever versions of their existing series – a “W” Mint mark Enhanced Reverse Proof American Silver Eagle, and a Modified Proof Canadian Silver Maple Leaf. Neither Mint has ever struck a coin with these finishes before, and who knows if they ever will again!
The Canadian Silver Maple Leaf will carry what the RCM is calling a “Modified Proof” finish. This finish will provide not only frosted devices and mirrored fields, but also a stunning pattern of etched maples, star, and stripes on its field. This drastic effect provides a physical display of the U.S. and Canadian collaboration on this program.
